I'm currently working as lead photographer at Baldface Lodge Catskiing near Nelson B.C. Running a photo program involving shooting photos of the guest while they cat ski and selling images at the end of the day with a dvd slideshow. I think this is the greatest ski job on earth ! After shooting a few different operations it's nice to be out in a fresh place. The people here are fantastic and the skiing is super.
One of the best things about travel being back home. I got back a fews days ago from a long driving trip through The south west states, down to the bottom of Baja California and back up the California and Oregon coasts. It was a great trip. Very hot in parts though, coupled with getting over a leg injury made it a bit of a challenge to shoot when and where I wanted to but in the end a handful of goods shots is enough. Experimenting with a new large format film Field camera a bought for the trip was allot of fun and I look forward to getting some nice transparencies back from the lab. For now I'm picking through the digital files and will be continue posting them to albums Mexico and U.S.A in the more photos section. http://www.robplato.com/photos/baja-mexico
PLEASE EMAIL TO c3plato@hotmail.com TO CONTACT ME!!!!!!!I've been in the baja of Mexico now for a week or so. I'm heading south down the baja california. It's getting very hot now that I'm cutting inland from El Quintin to bahia de los angeles on the eastern coast. I'm going to try to make it down to the bottom then get on a ferry to the mainland and head up back to the California border. So far so good.
